HCD Expo Happens in Cleveland, Oct. 23 – 26

Design Pool is excited to be exhibiting at the HCD Expo + Conference in Cleveland, Ohio. The event takes place October 23 – 26, 2021 in the Huntington Convention Center in downtown Cleveland. At the event, we will be introducing The Cryptology Collections to interior designers and architects, including our two award-winning groups, Knowledge is Power and Radio Waves. In addition to the designs we debuted at NeoCon, we are introducing sixnew designs based on code, R&R.

R&R is a collection of patterns designed specifically for healthcare interiors. Using our innovative technique of taking coded messages and creating beautiful designs, these patterns were designs with messages about health and wellness. When we created The Cryptology Collections, we kept thinking about how the patterns we use in a space contribute to what is being communicated in a built environment. In healthcare design, color is very important for a variety of reasons such as mood-setting and wayfinding. Pattern also plays an important role in a room. It got us wondering, what if the patterns themselves contained messages of hope, healing, and health? This collection does just that.
