IIDA NE Folklore Recap

Early in November, Design Pool joined the team from Paul Designs Project for the second year in a row to help create garments for the annual IIDA NE Fashion Show. The theme of the event this year was Folklore. This year our team took home the award for Best Use of Materials.

Thank you to our printing partners!

We worked with two of our printing partners to print materials for the garments. Graphix Unlimited printed the squares used in Kim’s shawl on their Veilish material and Graphic Image Flooring printed the vinyl used in Kim’s handbag (which lit up from the inside!). Thank you so much to both printers!

In addition, Kim’s top was needle-punched with Crypton yarn by Kristen Dettoni, and Kristin Crane used Crypton yarn to knit Paul’s cap. All that, plus materials from Knoll, helped to create the final looks. Thanks Crypton and Knoll!

And lastly, a huge round of applause to Paul Lewandowski of Paul Designs Project for leading the team to make his vision come to life. This event is always so fun and it’s so inspiring to collaborate with someone as talented as Paul. See you all again next year at the IIDA NE Fashion Show!
