Swallowtail Farm is a 2023 HiP Award Honoree

That’s a wrap on NeoCon 2023! Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and said hello. It was great to see some familiar faces and meet lots of new people. We are thrilled to let you know our work was recognized by Interior Design Magazine. Our Swallowtail Farm collection was named a 2023 HiP Award Honoree in the Health and Wellness: Fabric and Wall Covering category. Congratulations to the winner of our category, CF Stinson, for their Wellness Essentials group.

What are the HiP Awards?

Each year at NeoCon, Interior Design honors industry people and innovative products at their HiP Awards event. Interior Design’s editor-in-chief Cindy Allen presents awards to attendees in a wide range of categories to honor commercial industry pioneers and achievements in product design. Both Kristen Dettoni and Kristin Crane were in attendance at the awards ceremony on Sunday night at theMART.

This collection pioneers a holistic approach to healthcare interior design, integrating the healing attributes of nature into healthcare spaces.  “Swallowtail Farm transcends traditional design by creating holistic environments that nurture physical and emotional well-being,” said Kristen Dettoni. “It’s not just about crafting spaces that look good but are also imbued with a deeper purpose – to foster a sense of tranquility and wellness.”

Our partner, LDI Interiors, digitally prints all patterns in Swallowtail Farm on EnviroLeather, their luxurious, leather-like line of wipeable coated fabrics. This fabric uses innovative technology in performance coatings and formulations and is leading the movement toward sustainable, high-performance, less toxic fabrics. However, these patterns aren’t just for upholstery. As part of our licensable library, designers can print these patterns with any of our printing partners.

This is our third time exhibiting at NeoCon and our third time participating in the HiP Awards. Our first year, The Cryptology Collection was a HiP winner, Invisible Threads was an honoree in 2022, and this year Swallowtail Farm was a 2023 HiP Award Honoree.
