Welcome NuVision Window Film

Design Pool is so excited to welcome the newest printer licensing Design Pool patterns, NuVision Window Film and Graphics. Our partnership with NuVision offers interior designers the opportunity to print any Design Pool pattern on window film. Recently, we spoke to NuVision’s president, Scott Mack, to learn more about his company and what Design Pool users can look forward to with our partnership.

First, a bit about NuVision’s history.

In 2010, NuVision started operations as an authorized dealer and installer of 3M Window Film products in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Initially, they concentrated on 3M-branded solutions such as solar control, security safety films, and decorative window films. Their initial equipment acquisition at NuVision was a vinyl plotter that enabled the production of precise-cut vinyl graphics for use on architectural surfaces. Since then, their inventory has grown to include multiple printers with different capabilities, such as the state-of-the-art Canon Colorado, equipped with UV gel ink technology.

With these advanced capabilities, they are broadening their services to include custom printed wall covering and, eventually, textiles. Their customers include interior design firms, hospitals, large facilities, and office interior companies. They also work with small businesses looking for storefront graphics. They remain committed to specializing in architectural surfaces rather than fleet graphics or signage.

They offer a range of different products.

NuVision’s primary printed products are decorative window films printed on PET (non-PVC), 100% optically clear adhesive film using CMYK and White inks. They also have traditional wall coverings and vinyl self-adhesive films. Until now, they limited their design selection to basic levels of opacities of white and gray. In addition, white gradients, color films, and etched glass recreation have also been a specialty, along with custom print jobs from designer concepts.

What can we look forward to with a Design Pool and NuVision partnership?

NuVision’s president, Scott Mack, said, “We’re very excited about our new partnership with Design Pool. We offer print, installation services, and project management on a national level; however, our designers lack interior design experience. While they are remarkable at creating brand identity and sales material, there has been a disconnect for us in the interior design aspect. Our partnership fills a capability that we previously struggled with.”

Design Pool’s Kristen Dettoni echoed Scott’s enthusiasm. “Adding NuVision to the list of printers licensing our patterns gives interior designers another option for customizing their spaces. Their product is high quality, as is their customer service. I know interior designers will be excited to work with them.”

It’s easy to get started working with NuVision. Just click on the window films icon on any product page and fill out the pop-up. It’s as easy as a couple of clicks!
