Welcome Lucent Graphic Solutions

Design Pool is excited to announce the newest printer licensing our patterns, Lucent Graphic Solutions. Based in Costa Mesa, California, LGS helps businesses stand out from the crowd with high-quality graphics. We sat down with LGS founder Edmund Karam to learn more about his business, the types of projects they take on, and how a partnership with Design Pool can help interior designers.

Karam founded Lucent Graphic Solutions in March 2006.

During its early years, LGS established itself as the leader and trendsetter in the custom vehicle wrap industry. Recently, its business focus has shifted to custom wall coverings and graphics; a market Edmund is extremely passionate about.

Lucent Graphic Solutions primarily focuses on wall graphics, window/glass graphics, vehicle graphics, and floor graphics. They print and ship graphics worldwide. Additionally, as a California Licensed Contractor, they can install any project in the Southern California region. They can print on almost any roll-to-roll media, from vinyl to wallpaper. “Our favorite brand is, of course, Dreamscape,” said Edmund. At LGS, their capabilities are endless since their sister company is capable of printing on hard substrates and extra wide graphics.

LGS has many different printing and finishing machines, from latex to eco-solvent, to UV. “However, our favorite and most game-changing equipment is the Canon Colorado M5W,” explains Edmund. “This printer is specifically designed for wall coverings, glass, and floor graphics. It produces astonishing, vivid graphics that are extremely durable and safe (UL Greenguard Gold Certified inks) compared to any other technology out there. This makes this printer the perfect choice for wallpaper or vinyl wall coverings in the healthcare, hospitality, education, and restaurant environments. And since the inks are scratch and chemical resistant, they are very easy to clean and maintain.”

Sustainability is vital to LGS.

They make sure they use OEM ink systems that are UL Greenguard Gold Certified. Furthermore, they use recycled media for every project whenever possible. Edmund explains, “We understand LEED Credits and how to help our clients obtain a higher score. Additionally, all our waste is carefully recycled or disposed of in a way that meets all the laws and regulations.”

Design Pool is excited to work with Lucent Graphic Solutions because they are committed to delivering a high-quality product with excellent customer service. “Our reputation for quality, service, and expertise in our field proceeds itself. This is why a lot of business comes from happy client referrals,” said Karam proudly. Likewise, he is excited to give his customers access to award-winning designs and patterns to make an impact in the space they’re designing.

Edmund’s enthusiasm is infectious. “We at LGS are extremely passionate about the wallcovering sector of the printing industry. There is massive growth in this sector and we have carefully and strategically positioned ourselves to become not only the leader but the trendsetter. We want to set the standard for everyone else to follow.”
