Kristen will be at the Annual Craftsmen’s Fair

This summer, Kristen will be selling her original artwork in person at the Annual Craftsmen’s Fair organized by the League of NH Craftsmen. Find Kristen in Booth #109.

What is the Annual Craftsmen’s Fair?

According to the League of NH Craftsmen’s website, “The Annual Craftsmen’s Fair began in 1933 and runs for nine days each year, featuring the juried work of hundreds of members with sales booths, interactive demonstrations, and curated exhibitions attracting over 20,000 visitors annually.”

Where: Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, New Hampshire
When: August 2-10, 2025

Kristen’s work explores code.

All of the artwork Kristen will have available for sale is a continuation of her fascination with code. Her interest in women codebreakers and cryptologists, such as Elizebeth Smith Friedman, was the foundation for the award-winning Cryptology Collection. Since that original spark of inspiration, Kristen has continued playing with this idea with different techniques.

At the fair, she will have original punch needle pieces, intimate bead weavings, and functional tea towels. The common thread in all these different works is the hidden messages embedded in them.

This show is more than just art.

This annual event is truly a gathering rooted in community. Every day will feature live music from local musicians. There will also be creativity in action, with many of the featured artists hosting demonstrations. Watch master craftspeople engaging in their craft, and gain a whole new appreciation for their skillful work. In addition, there will be an exhibition tent and a sculpture garden so you can experience the work of many artists in one space.

We encourage you to visit the event’s official website for details on everything from accessibility to parking and directions. Be sure to stop by Booth #109 for this rare opportunity to talk with Kristen in person and buy some of her original artwork. See you on Mount Sunapee!
