The Story Of This Design - Not Just A Pretty Picture
Bee Leaf, is an homage to both Ted Lasso and Mary, Queen of Scots. Mary often incorporated an image of a dolphin in her embroidery, a symbol of Dauphin, the family of her betrothed who died young. Kristen thought about what animal might be symbolic of her work as an entrepreneur. She chose the bee, a common symbol of industry and determination, and also the “Believe” poster hanging in the locker room on Ted Lasso. This whimsical pattern, when printed on wallcovering using a dimensional 3D printer looks and feels like cross stich. This pattern is part of the Technology x Tradition collection, which was named a 2024 HiP Award Honoree by Interior Design Magazine.
