Some months we talk about a major trend, like all the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designpoolpatterns.com\/2021-fall-color-trends-from-fashion-collections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">colors we&#8217;re seeing on the runways<\/a> and sometimes we highlight a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designpoolpatterns.com\/vending-machines-the-touchless-trend-in-airports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fun trend we&#8217;re spotting <\/a>going about our lives. Whatever we talk about, it&#8217;s always a fun shot of inspiration. This month the trend we&#8217;re featuring is all about carpets and flooring in residential interiors. We look at different materials, colors, and patterns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are we seeing on carpets and flooring? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tiles<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The tiles we spotted we more decorative and had a lot of interest in them. There was a lot more pattern, dimension, and texture, as well as a lot of mixing of shades and color for additional effect. Slightly 3D, dimensional tiles are the newest trend to hit retail in a range of naturally inspired colors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designpoolpatterns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/GlazedTiles-09-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23127\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designpoolpatterns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/3D-08-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23126\" width=\"1002\" height=\"175\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Penny tiles continue to be a popular classic, as well as hexagons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital printing on tiles is also very popular and available in a wide range of beautiful patterns and textures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designpoolpatterns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/CollectionRev-02-02-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23131\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Glass blends are perfect for mosaics of all designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designpoolpatterns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/GlassBlends-790x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23143\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wool<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As designers and consumers look to have more natural options in their building materials, wool is making a comeback. These wool carpets feel great underfoot and featured many interesting textures with a lot of depth and dimension. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designpoolpatterns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Wool-01-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23052\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Texture &amp; Pattern<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In carpets, textures and patterns are subtle in nature. Design create interesting effects with weave structure as well as cut and loop constructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designpoolpatterns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Textures-03-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23134\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Color palettes in carpet and flooring were all heavy in warm neutrals and colored neutrals. Nature inspired color palettes that feel grounded. Given <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designpoolpatterns.com\/2022-colors-of-the-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this year&#8217;s picks for Colors of the Year <\/a>from various color trend forecasting groups and paint companies, these palettes make a lot of sense.
