Spotlight: Privacy Screen by KwickScreen

KwickScreen has been a Design Pool partner since we launched in 2019. According to KwickScreen, their privacy screen “products are designed to help improve infection control in partnership with hospitals around the world. Established over 12 years ago, we are used by every NHS trust in the UK and over 200 hospitals in the USA.” Our only partner based outside of the United State, KwickScreen’s portable screens are easy to set up, store, and move around a space quickly. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they proved incredibly valuable for being able to quickly adapt to a rapidly changing situation.

Things to know about the privacy screen:

  • They are transported via environmentally friendly options to reduce emissions due to air and road freight.
  • They are printed with HP Latex Inks, which care for the planet and people, without compromising on quality. 
  • The ink has no hazard warning labels and contains no Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs).
  • Once manufactured the product is odorless assuring spaces are suitable for sensitive indoor environments, such as healthcare.
  • Screens are made of 95+% recyclable material.
  • Over 70% of materials for manufacturing are procured from within 200 miles of the factory.
  • Packaging is designed to eliminate plastic and ensure recyclability.
  • Screens are made of 50%, Aluminum: 20%, Polyester: 16%, Glass Fiber: 4%, uPVC: 4%, Other components: <1% by weight each
