The Hypotrochoid design is reminiscent of a favorite childhood game of mine, Spirograph! The mathematical roulette curves was originally designed to prevent bank note forgeries. The modern interpretation is intricate and refined. Part of the Propel Collection, this collection is based on the word ‘propel’ and contains motifs resembling propellers and spinning. The patterns are meant to express a sense of action.
