Neoconnect Color Trends 2020 & Free Color Card!

We’re always on the lookout for beautiful colors, color combinations and color trends. Even though Neocon was canceled this year, we still found inspiration following along with their virtual event, Neoconnect. We already talked about the 5 big trends we saw in terms of product and manufacturing. Now we’re looking at Neoconnect Color Trends

Color trends fell into two broad categories this year.

First, we saw a lot of deep, saturated colors. Reds, pinks and blues were all very rich and used boldly. There was also a lot of deep, jade green. This green was often paired with deep neutrals but also accented with colors such as pink and aqua. It even coordinated well with reds, and somehow managed to avoid looking too holiday.

Next, we saw a wide range of softer, toned down shades. Yet, that doesn’t mean boring or muted. There were rich pastels that were still very saturated. We also noticed a range of hues that we’re thinking of as colored neutrals. These colors coordinate well with a wide range of colors, even sometimes with the richer jewel tones.

As for pattern trends, there was a major trend of simple line designs and geometrics inspired by city streets, maps and urban landscapes. Sometimes, a striking pattern emerged, other times the pattern became a texture that could replace a solid in a room. We pinned a lot of our favorite pieces from Neoconnect over on Pinterest.
