Lindenmyer Munroe Wide Format Expo Recap

In late March 2023, I exhibited at the Lindenmyer Munroe Wide Format Expo at their Wide Format Experience Center in Trenton, New Jersey. This was their second time producing this event, and they described it as “two days of innovation and inspiration, where you can discover the latest in wide format printing technology, explore new materials, and learn about cutting-edge techniques to take your printing game to the next level.”

The Lindenmyer team in Trenton did an incredible job organizing this event. Attendees could schedule an appointment with their local sales rep to walk through the facility, see equipment running and get all their questions answered.

In addition to seeing Lindenmyer’s products printing, the hallways were filled with vendors with everything from printer software to print substrates. There was a wide range of products, including many commercial-grade products such as wallcoverings, wall decals, and textiles. They also arranged a few presentations for those who wanted to dive deeper into particular products.

Why were we at the Lindenmyer Munroe Wide Format Expo?

We love going to shows where printers hang out! Our goal at this show was to educate printers about using Design Pool as a resource for all their image needs. We also spoke with many printers about the opportunities in the interior design market for digitally printed products. Using Design Pool as a resource can be valuable in a print shop. You can instantly access a vast pool of print-ready patterns without hiring a designer. And for those looking to break into the interiors market, these patterns have been designed with this market in mind.

It’s also important to us to stay on top of trends in the print world. So, I was excited to have the time to talk with some of our current material suppliers and meet new ones with exciting products.

A few highlights were:

Ultraflex
They specialize in high-performance digitally printable textiles and substrates.

Examples from Ultraflex

Ahlstrom
Their WallStar Digital series is leading the way in sustainable, fiber-based printing solutions.

Neenah
Wide format paper from Neenah is useful for a wide range of projects for interiors, such as wall decals.

Pongs
Pongs is a unique textile architecture system.

Natura
Natura window films offer a range of different looks for windows.

I had a great time meeting everyone at the Lindenmyer Munroe Wide Format Expo. Thanks so much to the team for a great event. I’m already hoping there will be another one in 2024. In the meantime, I invited myself back to their Experience Center (this time with Kristin) to spend time playing with their printers. Check back soon for that story!
